First Generation First Quarter Challenge

I am faculty co-Director of the First Generation First Quarter Challenge, where I have worked alongside program director Dr. Anita Casavantes Bradford of Chicano/Latino Studies since Spring 2016. This unique peer mentorship program is housed in the School of Social Sciences at UCI. Through weekly workshops & 1-on-1 sessions led by advanced students, this program provides 1st year students with resources and scaffolding to thrive in their new college environment.
